This free online course will prepare practice nurses to meet the requirements of the Medicare Healthy Kids Check for 4 year olds. The course has been developed with funding from the Department of Health and Ageing with input from experts in the field of child health and development. The flexible learning style allows for nurses to complete the two modules at their own pace. You’ll receive a printable certificate once you have completed the online assessments. This course has been endorsed by APNA and is the equivalent of 2.5 CPD hours.
The Healthy Kids Check may be completed on a child from the age of 3.5 years to 5 years. This online course focuses on the health and development of the 4 year old child, the recommended age for the Healthy Kids Check.
